Crankin' Big Eyes

#691898 - 07/14/08 07:29 PM

Just returned from the lake. We caught several eaters early in the day pulling blades with crawlers. Later on around lunch time switched over to cranks and caught several 20" plus fish. #7 raps fire tiger and little rippers working well for us in 10 to 14 FOW. Caught one just over 30" (CPR). Nice bite even with the may flies as bad as they are. Keep your mouth closed Bob when running the east shore, you may end up with fly juice too add to your snoose can!!!

If you wouldnt mind sharing...how far back are you running your lures to get that depth from your little rippers? Also what line and test would be helpful. thanks
