Any action or reports for the chain?
Area lakes? Looks like I have a chance to get away fishing for the weekend   Mostly we just fish when we're up there, but I'd like to mix it up with some walleye and panfish, if not we do fine bass fishing.
 Can't wait, haven't been out hardly any this year, this trip is long overdue.
Feel free to pm me also, incase you wanted to share some advice you didn't want the world to see or know about

Was just up there over the weekend, helping a buddy prefish for a tourney. The wind never stopped howling, forcing us to stay in the smaller lakes. We were fishing for bass, and focused our efforts in Rush, Little Pine and Cross. I did make the crossing to Trout, but again, the wind made it difficult to fish. A few guys commented that it was the worst wind they'd seen up there in 30 years. Don't know how truthful that was, but with a steady 20mph and 30+ wind gusts, it was nasty. You'll probably have better conditions to fish in. We did manage some bass, in the 6-ft range of the weed lines, and a few fish near the rice in Little Pine. The largest from our group was 19.
A bonus 35 inch, 10lb+ pike inhaled a swimbait in the channel going from Rush to Whitefish, put on quite a show for all the boats passing by. Good luck.

Thanks I appreciate the report, hopefully we can put somthing together, My father was actually up the past weekend, said they caught a bunch just bobber fishing leeches, not 100% sure what all they caught I'm betting most were rock bass  (My dad isn't quite the fisherman of the family, but he does alright)

was up there the 17-19 for a tournament. Placed 6th out of 50th

Nice! Congrats on the nice finish! I figured there was a big tourney, I seen a lot of nice boat up here.
We've just stuck to staying on Cross, Fishing has been fair, caught some nice sunfish, has a really nice northen break me off, some wonder my 6# test didn't hold a mid teen northen... It was shredded in multiple places. Trying to get the kids settled down so I can get out for maybe an hour or so yet tonight, Looks like we're heading home tomorrow.
