Lake superior Fishing anyone?

Heading up to Lake Superior for the last week of July. Two Harbors area. Like to put some Salmon and Lakers in the box. Anyone been there and what is your 'go to' starting set up and where do you go from there? Need all the help I can get.

Well, I'm back. Interesting trip to lake Superior Two Harbors area. Got the down riggers on the boat finally and low and behold, "some fish even caught us!" After getting some great info from fellow IDOer's here, we put that a some info from Marine General in Duluth and from Al's bait and tackle in 2Harbors to work. Ran a board port and starboard, dodger/fly on one side, stick on the other, changed up stick for spoon, nailed a Coho about 25'down over 105FOW. Got this laker at 55' over 125FOW. Both hit '57 chevy' spoons. Found the best speed (GPS)between 1.8 and 2.2 mph. Winds from the West and NNW pushed warmer water out. Temps in the harbor were 45+, but out in 250FOW were 53 one day. Making a turn heading in, when we hit the 50/49 temp line, marked fish @ 90'in 205FOW, dropped the riggers and pow - fish on. Laker also hitting the 57 spoon. Over all went 5 for 6 in 3 1/2 short days of trolling. One board didn't hook up hard and lost 'em. Everthing else was solid.
Ran 6 lines most the time, two boards, two riggers with 2 lines stacked on each. Got 'em high and low. Only one fowl up all week. All in all, we had a grat time, isn't that what it's all about?

Will try to post more pix when I get them. Also can't figure out this fishing report post thing so I put it here. Maybe someone wouldn't mind 'spreading this out on the other post areas. Heading to Lake Michigan next Friday <)((((><

I know the humps have, or were, giving up fish and the jiggers of the Stewart River were hanging some trout too. I was up a week ahead of you but only fished the breakwater by casting and drew a blank. We weren't there long enough to justify the boat being towed. Another month and the boat goes. Septtember is an awesome fish month there.
