spent the weekend in algoma all in all a nice weekend lost mostof sat to the fog but flat calm seas ended 17 for 21 with this 16lb 1 oz beautiful rainbow most fish came in 50-70 fow top 30 feet spoons were best with j-plugs next then flasher-fly combos most fish came on yellow birds and dipseys

Nice looking fish, I cant wait to get over there. I had my first trip last year and got hooked.  Those fish put up one heck of a fight.

Just got back from Algoma myself.We got 14 on Saturday afternoon and 15 this morning on a 6 hour Charter boat and lost quite a few today.Biggest fish was a 34 incher,not sure what it weighed.Should be getting better from here on out.

I leave in 3 weeks for Algoma and can't wait. These pictures are not going to make it any easier of a wait either. Hopefully it will be a good time for us also.

I am on the web cam at rush hour (harbor rush hour) every day as well.
Where you guys fish out of? I'll be out Aug 1-5 staying at Big lake campground with a party of 4 in maroon over white crestliner with a yam. kicker. Conni D boat name.
Always willing to share what's NOT working since that is all we ever seem to figure out! hehe

Our group of 6 will be there Aug 15-17 fishing from the charter boat Grand Illusion. We are fishing for 3 days 6 hrs each. This is going to be our first time out there and we are really looking forward to it. We met them at the Mpls Sport show and booked it there. Hopefully we will be able to get out and have some good fishing with lots of pics to share.
