pool 3 walleye

Here's a 28"er caught on a crank today on pool 3. We boated some other good fish today on leeches, crawlers and cranks fishing current wingdams and current breaks. I noticed a lot of mayflies on the water this morning. There must have been a good hatch lately.

Were you running the Alumacraft with the Merc on it? I was the guy in the black Lund.

Yeah, I did all right. Brought home a meal. My biggest fish was 27".

I think the mayfly hatch slowed the bite down a bit.
