Well Shane you didn't miss anything. We spent the day on Mille Lacs trying to find some Smallies. Ron caught a little 12 incher on a tube jig and I didn't catch a thing. Again....this makes 5 or 6 trips to Mille Lacs in a row where I've been shut out. I think I could do better fishing in the bird bath in the back yard. Dead Sea

I think the weather had a lot to do with yesterday's results. Slider found fish just like he said he would...but you can't make them bite if they don't want to bite. Last weekend on my favorite lake I boated 7 Largemouth between 19 and 20 inches. Today I worked really hard to find one 17 incher and a few little guys. WNW winds, high skies, post frontal conditions really slow things down.
