I received a great e-mail from good friend George the other day and thought I’d share the smiles. The picture with the 2 boys are George’s sons, George Jr V and Takoda.

E-Mail; Takoda caught this Northern Pike on July 19th using his sister Mikki’s Zebco 33 Rhino pole loaded with 10lb test line. The monster pike attacked a jig and night crawler as Takoda was reeling it in towards the boat. It took him about 6-7 minutes to get it to the net. The Zebco 33 (older model made in the USA) performed flawlessly during several drag screaming runs. The net was bending as I lifted it into the boat. I am currently searching for a taxidermist to have it mounted.
41” length 18.5” girth the handheld scale read 16lbs after we got back to the dock.
