Fished this beautiful flowage today with my dad. Today our targets were bluegills and crappies, and we had all we wanted. We kept 13, but could have kept many more decent fish, I just really didn't feel like cleaning them. Small jigs tipped with wxies did the trick.

Were you working the shorelines, weed flats or the channel? I am taking my niece out this week and hope to get her on a decent bite.

Interesting post. Friends of ours just came back from a campground there and suggested our family go there with them soon. They're inexperienced fishers though and wonder if I can help them find more fish there. Sounds like a good challenge.
I've never been to that area so if you have any general advice like what depth to start at or specific structure/cover to look for, I'm all ears.
