Zach,

Thanks for the update.

I do have a question regarding taking off and finishing on the South Dakota side, I know they are just considering it. If your taking off from the S.D. side do you have to have a valid S.D. fishing permit? I know if you are parking on that side you will need a S.D. park permit. I have both so it doesn't bother me, but there is probably a lot of people that have neither.

Not sure about this tourny, but under normal situations, you need either a NE or SD license to fish L&C Lake. Doesn't matter where you launch. The link posted above indicates all NE rules and regulations will be in force.

I was always under the impression that you needed a permit for the side you put in on.

I am procrastinating on paperwork today and looked up the regulations. You can launch from either side of the lake and all you need is a NE or a SD fishing permit. However, you do need a SD park permit to enter their respective parks.

Your Nebraska licence will work just fine and the way it sounds, we will take off from the NE side but that is not 100% confirmed yet but I will update that info as soon as a get a confirmation

Zach- How many teams are signed up? Surely there is more than the 10 listed on the web site. My entry will be in the mail by the end of the week.
