I am getting a group of guys together to go to Erie in the spring. I have a few questions: 1st what is the best time to go to Erie in the Spring. I was there four years ago in April and did very well. My second question is where is a good/cheap place to stay. I think that we stayed at the Best Wester in Port Clinton last time. Has anyone ever ferried and stayed on the island. I dont know the name of the island but have heard of it. Any help would be great.
