Spent the weekend on the river from Springfield to Verdel and there is finaly some water. Not high but closer to normal. We were able to get back in some ponds and actually had some current in the river. It still seemed pretty dirty compaired to other years but the fishing wasn't bad. Found some nice largemouth around Springfield and plenty of smallies from the niobrara river up.
