Took my cousin, 2 1/2yrs, out to do some serious fishing in the Cedar near Austin. He managed to bring in some fish all on his own, including his first WALLEYE! We ended up with a bunch of smallmouth and largemouth, a rock bass, a sucker and a walleye. We both had a blast and he loved pickin out the crawlers, next step is to teach him how to run the camera!

Nice fish the young guy caught, it was fun to watch him. Is that the same Cedar River that goes through Cedar Rapids here in Iowa, I think it may be.

Thanks! Yes ur correct it is the same water. It starts a bit north of here and is a lot smaller than it is down there

Thats the first time Ive seen the headwaters and Ive ofter wondered what it looked like and how big, pretty cool. It reminds me of Indian creek here, same size and water clearity, even the fish, thanks
