Not exactly a fresh report....

Crow River Dam<<<

I haven't been out there for a while....but there's generally something biting at the dam.

There's Stahls Lake NW of town that should have a good northern bite going on about this time of year...but again, I haven't been out there fishing in a long while. Pan fish should be good there too.
Lake Marion South of town should have a good gill bite from the fishing dock. I'm talking about shore fishing at these locations.

Going to have to wait for someone else for up to date info.

Big bass out on Minni Bell...about 5 years ago anyway.

I hope someone gives you more updated info than I can...but either way, let me know how you did.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the dam is gone its more like small rapids with big cement blocks scattered around, they took the dam out to improve fish habitat you may have better luck under some of the bridges that cross the crow in the area.

I completly forgot about that!

I haven't been out there since they took it out. Improve the fish habitat?? Maybe, now all the carp and bullies can migrate up to Cedar Mills.

There's still the Main St brige, the train bridge (I know...no train ) and the Bluff St bridge.

Man I put a lot of hours in fishing below that dam.

well i planed on getting up at 530 yesterday mourning to give er a shot but the beer went down all to well saturday night at the reception so i didn't get up till 7 but i still made it to the river by 710 and the first thing i noticed was all the fry swimming around i think some were channel cats and the rest looked like bullies or flats i started just above the discarge at whatever that plant is in town there and worked my way up to the damn were there was very little water coming throught but i ended up catching 5 crappies 1 gill a channel and a bullie the all fell victum to a culprit paddle tail and a 1/16 oz jig the gill was a nice one going maybe 7 inches and the crappies and cat were on the small side heres a picture of the new natural dam my uncle said the still gotta put gravel in it and the boulders are huge
