Any predictions for the season? I think we'll see a whole new attitude on the field this year. Although I accept the possibility that they will finish with a record similar to last year, I do believe that 8-4 is a reasonable expectation. 9-3 is not out of the question. Better is not impossible.
There are no games this year that the Huskers don't have an honest chance of winning. But really, as long as they play with some intensity, and beat the snot out of Colorado, I'll be happy.
GBR!

I believe we are very capable of being a 9-3 or better team GO HUSKERS
We should end up somewhere between 8-4 and 10-2. It'll depend on injuries. We are lacking a little depth on defense and the loss of Dixon hurts. It looks like Baker Steinkuhler will play defensive line and may end up getting some serious playing time this season. The offense should be explosive, but may play it close to the vest with a pounding running game to give the defense more time on the sideline this season. We WILL run the football. I expect to see more zone read with Ganz at QB and Watson calling the plays. That should keep the chains moving. Regardless of the win-loss record, I guarantee this Husker team will play with max effort and the passion we were used to before the Callahan Error!

Hey, man, the Kool Aid tastes pretty good. I'll drink it if I wanna.
I could see losses to OU, Texas Tech (maybe...), Mizzou, and possibly Va. Tech. I could also see the Huskers winning any one or all of those games. Beyond that... well, Kansas is in for a rude awakening this year. The Buffs ain't nothin' special. The first three games will be pretty much warm-ups, which leaves what... Iowa State? Baylor? We'll see about that.
Go Big Red!
