Do you like throwing spooks?

I sure do, and I'll be down there this coming weekend hopefully to get on the water at a minimum once. Haven't been on the river since it peaked in LaCrosse in May or June so I'm a little out of touch w/ whats been going on down there.
Got any suggestions of where to throw a spook right now? Its been my goto top-water all summer, and some quality river fish would be a good time!

Wingdams and sandflats are always a good bet for spook action. I would keep my focus on stronger current right now with the water being so low. Steve DeZurik has a good smallie report out there right now that gives away some excellent information for you to read.

You can throw a spook pretty much anywhere the grass won't tangle in the hooks...Like BC said, stick to areas with heavier current right now.
