Wissota update, 8.16.08

#700820 - 08/17/08 08:27 AM

A short crank-pulling trip with my daughter Caroline and Grandpa Tim on Saturday evening put some dandies in the boat, including a 21+ and a handful of high-end slot fish. The green seems to have settled down, and there is not too much floating debris on the main lake, making for pleasant crank-pulling conditions. Temps creeping back up into the upper 70s, will flirt with 80 by the end of the week after a prolonged hot, sunny, and dry stretch. The fish don't seem to mind, however, so get out there and give it a whirl!

Nice job Jason...was out both Friday and Sunday evenings with the family...but these were without poles! The wife wanted to spend some time on the water just cruising...but the water did look a little better...not as green! Hopefully this week/weekend I'll be able to wet a line again!
