If I have an IA license how far north can I go on Pool 9 and still be legal? Is there a sign that states when you enter Minn/Wis. territory? I am going to be on a houseboat with a bunch of guys this weekend and some of them will want to fish and we all have IA licenses. We will be heading north out of Lansing. Any advise on where to fish also?? I would like to get them on a walleye or two but some gills would be fine also. Thanks

The main channel cut off area would be around the town of Victory I believe. I don't think you will see a sign stating you are now in minnesota or anything like that. In the back channel you won't want to go far past the New Albin boat landing.

On the main channel there is a brown sign on the Iowa side. It's just north of Victory. In minnesota slough there is a small white sign thats not nearly as noticeable. Good luck!

Its been awhile since i've been in a boat up there but there used to be a white pole or tree trunk marking the boundry on the Iowa side.
