I've been wanting to get up to Sherman for a day trip for some eyes. I know there was a decent bite a while back but I'm curious if anyone has done any good lately?
My son and I put about 8 hours on the 9.9 this weekend and came up blank. A lot of fish suspended between 13 and 16 feet down in 23-25 fow. We trolled our favorite colors of flicker shads. We stairstepped our lines from 125 to 165 feet of fireline. Had a couple of strikes but did NOT land a fish.
There was a terrific mayfly hatch last week and that may have changed some early August habits for Sherman's walleye population.
