Wissota cats after dark

#701729 - 08/21/08 07:35 AM

A handful of us decided to go and chase Wissota cats at the conclusion of this week's league event. Armed with a bunch of medium suckers and a positive catfishing attitude, we headed out to the big lake for a few hours of after dark cattin.

Our results were pretty good, for a handful of walleye guys drowning suckers on trolling rods. Each of our two boats scored a fish during the short trip. Whitetip's boat popped the biggun (of course), while I was successful at putting Sully on a juvenile flattie.

This was my first "on purpose" cat trip on Wissota, and given what we saw in just a few hours, I will be back!

That was a very good burger though.

You'll really get BrianK jealous, if you keep catching catfish like that.
