channel cat conversion length vs weight

My link no longer works. Does anyone have a conversion chart handy. Trying to figure out how much the 34 I caught last weekend might have weighed.

This is a Red River channel cat chart I made.

Thanks RB. It was a good fish. I was fishing alone and didn't get a good picture. It had a huge head and what i would consider a skinny body.

I assume this is based on the fish that you've actually caught RB?

I find it interesting that the Barbie Pole record fish was 32" yet none of the 32" fish on this chart were over 21 lbs and only when you get to 35" does is seem likely.

Yes. 163 Red River channels measured and weighed by me and a friend a few years ago.

That's what I thought.

Must be that those cats up there are on the skinny side

Pond cats are going to have quite a bit more bulk per inch of length than those that fight the Red River current year round. The guy that caught it looked like the pond catfish variety too.
