My son and I were fishing on Rainy Lake on the Canadian side. On 8/23/08 we had a double fish on, he had a 29 1/4" walleye and I had a 29 3/4" walleye. We landed them in a musky net at the same time. Our average size walleye for the week was 27.4". This was the best year yet.
Nice fish!!!! Looks like you and your son had a blast. My son was up in Canada last week too. Him and his friends went to Rainy on the 19th and caught some nice walleyes too. He caught the biggest at 28".
