I was thinking about getting some before the rebate ran out. Would be using it on a spinning reel. How well does this stuff hold up, fraying, cracking? Other comments or suggestions.
I have had great luck with Stealth on trolling set-ups.....not so good on spinning reels.I think you will be disapointed. They came out with Stealth Ultracast I think for that reason. That product is very good so far for my spinning reels.

Have you noticed as much fraying on the stealth ultacast as compared to p pro or fire line dean?
Jeff,I just started experimenting with it this year.IMO much less than fireline, and I cant say it is less than power pro at this time.My initial perception is that it does casts slightly better than power pro.Certainly a option, but I havent used it enough to tell anyone it is the best at this point.

I'm noticing the exact same issue on three of the baitcasters that I spooled up early this summer with Spiderwire Ultracast. It doesn't seem like this has led to any casting issues or line breaks thus far. But I'm for sure keeping my eye on it....
Personally I don't care for Spiderwire Stealth on baitcasters for bass fishing at least. Has a very waxy feel that seems to rob the longer casts that some braided lines are capable of giving you. I also don't care of the knot strength of it, at least when it comes to palomar knots.
I've been using it for a little over a year now. I like it a lot on the trolling rods. (20# test)
Personally, I haven't noticed any problems with it yet on my spinning rods. Those are set up and used mostly for vertical jigging both blades and jigs. (8# test)
