Hooking E-tec to Lowrance network

#704285 - 09/02/08 08:27 AM

Has anyone hooked their E-tec into their Lowrance network? I know you can get engine statistics on your locator, but wondering if it is worth the effort. From what I can tell, all you need is the $59 cable that goes from the network backbone to the connection off the motor's EMM. I already have the network in place so if that is all it takes, it would be easy to hook up. Just looking for feedback from anyone that has done it on whether or not it is worth it.

Thanks.

It's that simple.
I did it this spring and it works great.
you can overlay any data you want and also if there is a motor alarm it will display on the screen of the GPS in Big letters.

I have it and I love it - I am also running the iCommand digital Evinrude gauges that are really Lorance digital gauges OEM'ed.

Very nice and you can access all vital info from your engine!
