The Bemidji area fishing is cranking up again at this time and this is probably my favorite time of the year to fish. As the water temps continue to drop it will only keep getting better. I have been out a few times on Lake Bemidji as well as some other local lakes and have been able to find fish holding tight against sharp drops during the daylight hours and up on top of the flats during twilight hours.

This is by far my favorite time of year! Others are putting boats away, getting docks outta the water, and going hunting....
I have the whole lake to myself!!! Just me and those iddy bitty fishies.

We did see Big Mama up there and she had a litter of triplets too. Saved them just for you next year. By then they will be a Captin Morgan's 1 lber's.
Andy is putting the pictures onto CD and then I will post them up.

Yes we went feeshing last night. I locked into a 27"er. Wow, what a beauty!!
Took a couple pics and sent her on her way.
Will try to get pic up on here sometime soon.

Yes that was a NICE fish. The color on that fish was just amazing.
