#705671 - 09/08/08 07:10 AM

I have a bud who is looking into purchasing said item- His question is this- Does this machine recieve interference from other machines fishing the same area the same way vexilar and Marcum does, and general preformance of machine, Thank You for any input!

Yes, but one can usually tune it out.

I love mine, as do many other owners, but there are a staunch group who think that they're not as good as a traditional flasher. I feel it is equal or better than a flasher.

I'm in the group that thinks you're better off with a flasher, I played with one we could not get it to work correctly with both or a LX3 and Fl-18 running.

I'm with Nick and Scott on this one. I have the 332c that I purchase the ice system for ....It works very well don't get me wrong. I also have the traditional flasher. My 12 year old son can tune the traditional flasher but not the 332c. It take alot of putzing around. It is just harder to use around other electronics. If your fishing a lake with little pressure and your out by yourself alot......either will work fine if you are fishing more pressured areas with other electronics around I'd look at the Marcums or the Vexilars. They are just far easier to tune out interferences. The prices are not that different in many cases any more.

I don't use the x-67, but do use the 102c which is the same technology. I love it and will not go back to a graph for my application. It gives more info and history with less eye strain and noise. A flasher is better for durability and ease of use. I prefer to get the settings correct and use the graph setting of the 102C.
