My buddy has a 16.5 ft alumacraft canoe he would like to sell. It can hold a motor and has the oar holders. Not sure of age but Its probably in great shape. I dont remeber him ever using it but it is stored inside. What should a guy ask for it?
Sounds like it is around 20 years old. He said he would rate it an 8 out of 10 as to the shape its in? he said it has rubber mats for the bottom hat go with it.
Those canoes are selling new for around $1300 or so. That would be the CO17 model. Hopefully that will give him a starting point to deduct for age/shape, etc. Have him call local resorts. We sold many to places that rented them out.
