Where to eat on Pepin?

#705701 - 09/08/08 09:21 AM

I plan on fishing the North half of Pepin (P4) tomorrow for the first time ... Is there any place on the lake where a man could dock his boat, walk the dock, and grab a burger/beverage?

Thanks

The Pickle Factory is good... but on the south end. If you're going to be fishing the very north end of the lake your choices are limited. I'd suggest running up into the river to Red Wing and hitting the Harbor Bar if you don't want to run all the way back down to Lake City. The Harbor Bar is just past the high bridge, WI side. They had decent food. The beer's always cold.

You might have a bad sense of direction... but I bet you never missed a meal the last time you were up, did ya'?!

Another option > Dock up at Evert's, pick up a cold one from the cooler at the bait shop and order a burger delivered from Liberty. Pretty good and faster than you would think!

Willows on the River is a good option. Located on the north end in Lake City. Nice dock and really good food! Just look for the paddle boat and you will find it.

The willows is really the skyline http://www.skylineonpepin.com/menu.html

If they are closed, just park your boat at their dock and walk across the street to the Burger King.

If you go to the Harbor Bar, spoil yourself and get the blackened ribeye sandwhich.
