Whats the best fall time period for big pike?
Staying on the American side how far East is the best area?
Should mention I will be trolling 100%.

O.K. Chris, whats your opinion?

Hi Brian,

I think the best fall fishing takes place from Now until the end of October. The deeper into fall you get the better the fishing can be, but also the better chance of tough weather to fish. Locations are similiar whether you choose to fish East or West. Trolling big cranks through the pods of baitfish, and in and around deeper humps will put you on the right pattern. Some locations obviously will be holding more baitfish, and in turn holding more gamefish. I fish close to home (West) often in the fall. Doesn't mean the East isn't producing, but if you don't have to make the big trips it makes good economic sense.

Good Luck Buddy!
