Will someone be able to knock off the local sticks? Nascak, Jerowski ('05 Champion) and Chick ('05 Runner-up)
With the low flow it should favor the sticks with many generations and hours and hours of experience on those pools. But then again it is fishing.....
A few rather impressive anglers qualified for this one so if their schedules allow them to fish things have the potential to get interesting. Here's a few names that come to mind - Przekurat, Neu, Lotz, Hein, Ruffolo, Blosser and many more that have quite the resumes and hours of line in the water.
Good luck to all and may the most talented angler for those 3 days win....
No doubt it would be tough to bet against the names you mentioned Kurt. But ya never know who is knocking on the door till the end of the day! Good Luck to everyone!

Saw 1/2 dozen boats fishing right below the dam on my way to work this morning.

Overall the race is tight, anyone still has a shot to make the cut. No doubt 2 of the local favorites have positioned themselves well. Look for 5 of the Top 10 to maintain or improve their positioning while the other 5 slip out of contention. This race is tight and if the wind dies the dams will be much more productive. I think we'll see some big weights on Friday. My money is still on a local to win this thing.
You are DARNED close on this one! Brad is a good friend of mine as well, and he is on FIRE this year. He is sitting in 4th going into Saturday. Brad is an extremely smart stick and does not do anything to deviate from his plan. He can flat out fish.
