Got out for a few hours sunday night in the rain and wind. Fishing was slow with only a channel cat and a 36" sturgeon landed.
The areas where we were marking the most bait were also the most windblown and my anchors weren't holding. We didn't want to run much, so we ended up fishing the spots where the anchors would hold, but not much bait action around.
I need better anchors!

Nice fish. Your right it is darker brown than most.
