Warm up? Are bass going?

#708342 - 09/17/08 04:01 PM

What will this warm up do to the bass? With this help the bite? Kind of screwy weather lately. First it cools down now with a few days of mid 70's the surface temp. has to be rising.

This warm up should move some more fish shallower. Finding green weeds are the key this time of year.
I have a hard time not throwing some type of topwater this time of year as the frogs are moving from the swamps to the lakes to get ready for winter hibernation

yesterday was hot. The shad were suspending 8 feet down...crankbaits are a real good bet when that happens. I didn't have time for that with 1 hour to fish after football...i targeted the slop and there were plenty of fish there.

So what type of top water baits should I guy be throwing. Frogs? Poppers, minus-1's?? I'm a rookie at this bass thing. It's getting kinda fun..I can't beleive I just said that.

Moss and I got these on topwater yesterday in open water. Fish were coming out of 8-12 ft of water to crush our baits. BC got that toad on a frog.... You're looking at the certified scale difference between a 5.05 and a 3lb'r. Way to go BC
