I can, I think it is etched into my brain 20.8 pounds.
I know the second place team had 20.18 pounds too
The weather was really crappy right up to the day of the tourney last year and then tourney day was great. The bite was off last year compared to most years so the weights may be a little higher this year---if Fall ever gets here and we get some rain.
It is a good time and 2 lucky people are going to get their names on one nice trophy--it could be you so come on out! Who knows, it might even be an old fart and young pup

Apparently mother nature was listening to you. We got our rain last night in the NW metro. The water should be in Red Wing just in time for this tourney.

8 sauger with a total of close to 21 pounds??

It's amzing how big the sauger are in the river.

I'm guessing keepers of 18 inches or bigger plus a few 22 - 24 inch range to win or evan place?

My guess would be an average of 20"ers to be in the hunt of things

I know big sauger was only 4.22 pounds last year In the Fall the sauger are bulking up so they have decent weight. With 8 fish I know our 7th and 8th fish were chubby 17 inchers and we were the poor saps in second place. There are some 19 inch fish that are over 3 pounds easily so not sure it will take all 20's to win but it sure wouldn't hurt I think the weights will be a little higher than last year---this Spring we were seeing some huge sauger. Then again---what do I know
