you think throwin a gray 5 inch money minnow would work on tonka this upcoming weekend. Throwin git over the weedflatts and maybe against some deeper weedlines even by docks. whats your huys thoughts about this

I haven't been up there in a while but this spring i did really good on Swimbaits on Tonka. Slop is right, you will get some toothy critters but they are fun to catch as well. The muskie right know are bitting really good on tonka as well

Been throwing swimbaits a lot this year. Effective for bass but really effective for pike and musky. Got a 48" musky on a 5" YUM swimbait while doing what you are contemplating. Pike and musky are pushing shallow so be prepared. Haven't had any luck using swimbaits for walleyes after dusk though.

BIG temp drop this weekend, so don't forget to factor that in. The fishing this weekend could be a bit on the tough side.
