Casting Crankbaits

#710495 - 09/26/08 12:42 PM

Quick question, would a Shimano Calais 200APV be up for casting crankbaits weighing 3/8 oucnes, or should I look to cast bigger?

I would have to believe it could do a very good job of casting baits in that weight.

I have one and highly recommend. The variable braking system continually impresses me. I have no problem turning it way down to cast floating and sinking worms or crankin it up and throwing heavy spinner baits. You will not be disapointed in this reals capabilities in the 3/8 range.
