The day started off very slow!!! The poor water clarity mixed with overcast skies made it tough. The sun finaly showed up around 11:30 , and the fish started to bite. I ended my day at 2:00 with 7 eyes , 3 very healthy slot fish, 3 shorts and one 18 incher. All fish came off wingdam tips with reaction type baits. Water temp was around 72 degrees. With the cool weather coming it is only going to get better. Bring on the 50 degree water temps.

Glad you got into some. I am so ready for the plastic bite. See you in the mines.

You did a bit better than we did on 14 yesterday. Between 7 and noon we managed 3 eye's. 2 shorts and one healthy 19.5 incher. Also managed about a half dozen fat gills for lunch! All our fish came on the outer half of wingdams, and mostly just on plain crawlers.
