Pool 13 Bellevue

#711291 - 09/30/08 01:58 PM

What a great morning to be out fishing. We fished below the Bellevue dam and about two miles down river, fishing the end of wing dams. Our best luck was actually at the dam vert.jigging ring worms and one eyes. At the end of the morning we ended up with six legals and two shortS. All the walleyes were RELEASED. I can't wait until the fall bite arrives.

Good to hear Stickman. My wife and I were just over on 13, fishing for crappies. If I can find my card reader, I'll download my pictures and get a report up.

The water temps are coming down nicely the past few days.

Stickman I also had some luck in pool 13. I fished the upper end of the pool today for about five hours and ended up with six nice eyes. Casting crankbait on wing dams was the ticket for me. Most of the fish had the cranbait inhailed. What a great feeling when they smashed it, that hard. The biggest fish of the day(25 1/2'')came on casting a firecracker ringer on a current seam near the dam. Good luck this fall.
