As long as he was not in a no wake there is not much you can do
for there is no speed limit on the river. I don't think his wake was
that big compared to some of the house boats that come by.
Also you will find as the water gets cooler the wakes hit your
boat harder because the water is colder. This what i have found
from fishing the river for 25 years.

Well, at a molecular level it is fact. The molecules in water actually get closer together as the water cools....
