Im heading to Canada for the first time this coming week and had a few guestions? I will be fishing the winnipeg river. First hows the fishing, and whats the best to use for each species this time of year? Second whats the cost of a non resident license and how many fish can i bring home? thanks for the help guys!

I'm sure it's prime walleye season up there. Jigs and cranks possibly rigging. Last time I was up there the license cost about $27 and you can bring back 4 or you can get a conservation license and bring back 2. The fall run up there is legendary for loads of big eyes.
