It's been a while since I've fished the St. Croix. But Any Bass (smallie) Action on the Croix picking up. I know things start to pick up on Lake Pepin as the temps cool and I was just wondering if the same happens on the Croix. Thanks

Good question. How about the walleye bite also? I have not been out since the river rat tourney.

Just drove over the Hudson bridge in the fog, who's in the two boats down there? It was soooo pretty that I almost stopped and jumped over in hopes I may land in one of them. I was out last Friday, slow, water temp still a little too high imho. Back out Sat!

I have a devil of a time catching smallmouth out there in the Fall. I would imagine they are deep and chasing the shad.

I was likely one of them, south of the bridge, and a little foggy this AM

Steveo,
You are correct those bronze backs go deep and eat shad. Turk
