Mr. Cory Waller...not too bad for a bass guy!

#712816 - 10/07/08 10:39 PM

I've had Chevy's, well since gas was 35 cents a gallon.

I've leased three Chev's from a dealer in Bloomington and I called there, but this time to buy a few year old truck/suv. I told the sales person what I wanted and the price tag to go with it...then the FW told him what we were going to get.

He said "Come on down! We'll fix you up!" So off to Bloomington we went. After a long evening of looking and settling on a truck that both the FW and I wanted, the money end didn't work out...although my sales person said it would. So we left a bit sour for driving all the way down there and wasting our time.

The next day our salesman called and gave me a price on a different suv that was WAY out of our price range. I asked him if he had heard me? "Let me work on the truck you two liked last night. You've leased from us for over 10 years, I'm going to work for you" he said. He calls back with an O8 SUV lease with over a $500. monthly payment.

In the mean time...I was thinking about shooting a pm to Cory Waller over at Hasting's Ford. Tuck alway spoke highly of Cory and his Fords...but I pmed him anyway.

To make a short story short... one evening... to pick out the truck Deb and I wanted in a price range we could afford and the next day, today...the FW was driving a newer, less mileage and LESS EXPENSIVE truck that we wanted home.

Cory made us feel as though we lease our trucks from him for the last 10 years. He was aware of our needs and exceeded them!

Amanda the hospitality lady walked us around the dealership for the grand tour and explained some of the aftermarket products Hasting Ford has to offer. Even if your not in the market for a vehicle, it's worth the time just to meet Amanda and her bubbly personality. I could tell she didn't fish for bass.

So Mr C Waller, I want to publicly thank you for a easy, stress free, no hassle transaction. You'll be seeing more of us in the future.

...and Tuck, you have a referral coming...so you're buying the first round!

Ps Only found one thing wrong with it...it has a new car smell...and the stink bait in there over night should take care of that.

I'll pick you up if I see you broken down on the side of the road

Just kidding. Nice looking truck, BK. I'll keep my eyes out for it at Evert's. I can marr it up with some silver Toyota paint

First of all I would like to thank FW for her business and Brian too. It sure is a nice truck and will certianly meet your needs. If your a sportsman who needs a truck there has never been a better time to buy one. Current market conditions and decent interest rates make for some pretty affordable payments. Amanda sure does a good job for us and helps give us even more of that hometown feel here at the dealership. The good news is since Tuckner is going to be buying rounds with his referral I might as well double it sounds like a party to me
thanks again for your business Brian

Congrats BK

I will also back the pleasure it was delaing with Corey on a Truck Purchase I made last November @ Hastings Ford. I got one heck of a price and the service was outstanding.

Double that with a loan form Bob Bowman and CCFCU it was a painless process, except for talking bass with Corey!
