Multiple Ipods on 1 install of ITunes

#713458 - 10/10/08 03:14 PM

Does anyone here run multiple Ipods on once instance of ITunes software. My neighbor had 4 ipods and wants to keep seperate repositories of music for each of them.

Is this pretty straight forward within the ITunes software configuration??

We run 3 iPods from one version. I don't know if we are doing it the best way -- but what we do is create a new folder for each iPod, and then create new playlists under each folder. When you go to sync your iPod, you just put a check mark next to the folder or playlists you want to transfer. If that's what you're after, it's not too complicated.

I think that will work. The parents just don't want the kids listening to the same music for obvious reasons. Thanks!!
