Another Estimated Weight??

#715603 - 10/21/08 07:32 AM

Caught this last Friday scouting for the Saugerama.

I figure it was 39-40 inches. I have a 36 inch bump board and it was a good 3-4 inches past that.

Fishing by myself so these are the best pictures I had.

If I could I would have stopped and put a paper sack over my head then pulled the ugly beast in.

A catfish in a walleye boat...it's just not natural...

Anyone know how can I get the slime off of the carpet??

Its a Skindawg cat!

So, I'm in the back of a pickup with Bill Brasky and a live deer! Well, Brasky, he grabs the deer by the antlers, looks at it and says, "I'm Bill Brasky! Say it!" Then he squeezes the deer in such a way that a sound comes out of its mouth - "Billbrasky!" It wasn't exactly it, but it was pretty good for a deer!

I few weeks back I got a 38", 26.1 lbs flathead....so being a little longer that would probably be 28-30lbs.
I dont know, Cat guys- what does that chart say?

I dont know???? I think maybe only FIRE gets the slime out of a walleye boat. Brian K I think is the resident expert here.

I would agree with the 25 to 30 pound range.

As far at getting the slime out of your boat...I would think you would want to keep it in to hide the walleye smell...

Warm water and Dawn for dishes...and a bit of a scrubbing brush will take it out.

Thanks Brian.

Actually I could care less if I have fish slime in my boat...its a fishing boat.

I did notice the slimy catfish carpet has a nice shine to it.
