Great Brainerd Lakes report on the way

#740352 - 01/18/09 07:55 PM

I had a great trip to the Brainerd Lakes area this past weekend. Big bass, nice pike, and great times all around. As soon as I catch my breath, I'll post a full description.

I had a chance to use a MarCum 825C camera this weekend, and was lucky enough to capture a bunch of GREAT underwater footage. With James' help, we'll be sharing a bunch of that with all of you shortly. Nothing like watching a school of 18"+ bass interact with a shiner under a tip-up!

Slider, thanks for the phonecall on Friday night...if my dance card hadn't been full already, I would have definitely run with your suggestion.

Hey, no problem. Just trying to help you out with a great bite that I heard of
From the sounds of it, you had your own great bite going on.

Hey J,

I didn't get all the footage imported last night. Kept at it until 3 AM but ran out of steam. So I won't have that footage up here on the site until next week. Sorry... but it will be worth the wait. You got some GREAT stuff!
