catfish bite

Catfish are on fire! Went out for three hours today and picked up 10 cats. Average size was 3 pounds with the largest weighing in at 7 pounds. They are hitting very hard so hold on to your pole! Almost lost one over the side when a 3 pounder decided to hit. Hitting crawlers and stink baits.

Hey guys. Im going to be heading to pool 10 with 4 kids in two weeks to go camping for 4 days. We will try for some eyes and panfish during the day, but at night i would love to put them into some great cat fishing. I love catfishing at night. Looking for channel cats. Could you guys help me a bit by telling me what to look for, for a couple good spots to put them on some channel cats? And possibly what i should use, and how i should set it up. Do any of u ever use black lights, to make your line shine in the dark? I remember doing that with my dad when I was a kid, and I remember it being soooo cool. Thank you to anyone that has any suggestions for summer cats on pool 10.
