How about a pike? I got this hog last week in Canada on Lake Umfreville (English River system). It was just pushing past 40 inches, but was very solid. I have caught a couple of other 40 inchers in years past, but I think this was the heaviest. It fell to a Glidin' Rap, which by the way I was very impressed with. Great irradic action and lots of flash

Out of season while bass fishing on Waconia last Wed. May 27th, hopefully a prelude of opener weekend. Right around the 40" mark. You guys may have seen my post under fishing reports on Muskie1st.
First 5 minutes, third dock, flipping a sweet beaver under the docks. Watched her swimming from the dock with it, before setting the hook. Hope it is that easy this weekend.
Then proceeded to catch one small male bass, not good.

You need a digital camera then you can just plug it in to the computer and download the pics to your computer and do an e-mail attachment like everyone is suggesting

38.5"
Hard to tell with the perspective going on in the picture, tail positioned down and away from the camera. What's impressive is the lighting and how clean of a fish it appears to be. Beautiful fish.
Had to be fun if it was incidental and on light tackle.

bass fishing...medium action 6.5 foot rod...10# flouro...
was kind of exciting there for a bit...for reference, my hands are 4 inches wide across the fingertips...when held together...my length is only an estimate...what I thought was amazing (it's not a trick of photo angle) is the huge head this fish had relative to it's body...

Here are a few more from June, all came on walleye colored baits. Dunwrights and Believer's over deep water working big pods of bait fish.
I have finally got the solo net and photo operation down to a science. The front and back butt seats work great for setting up the camera. A ten second delay, and I get photos of any fish I want. I spent about ten minutes in the boat messing around with where I need to stand when I set the camera up for a timed shot. It did not take long, a few photos and I knew exactly where I needed to be. The other thing I have found to be very useful this year, is having the net ready, I normally pull out the handle and set the net over the passanger windshield, having the net handle extended over the back casting platform. I have found that when I am alone, I net all my fish from the back of the boat. Having the net extended twards the back of the boat makes things much easier when alone. Moving forward into the next few days, we have a full moon on its way, and my family on the way to the cabin, with hopes of two firsts for my kids, my daughter is more then ready, she asked tonight, when we were going muskie fishing....I love this

We picked up this 38 incher while we were trolling for suspended walleyes out in the open open basin of Mille Lacs. "Little G" got to reel it in. It was caught on a Deep Storm Thunderstick trolled 24 feet down in 32 feet of water. It was also had a DNR tag in it but we were unable to get the number off of it because the tag was boken in half.

Thanks Bob. Here's one from earlier this year. Came on a nightcrawler of all things. Of course it's an accidental fish as I had no leader and only running 10# test. Not to bad of revival. Used the current to the fish's advantage.

I helped this crappie fisherman last night. He came up to our boat and asked if we had a net because he had a big Muskie on his line and couldn't land it. Pulled up and netted the fish, took a quick photo, and helped with the release. Just shy of 40".....caught it on a tiny Crappie jig and 6LB. test. Congrats on a beauty fish!

This 47 incher was caught by my buddy on a west metro lake tonight. He had 3 others hooked up but was unable to put them in the boat. I learned a good lesson on having the right equipment matched with the right lures. Shimano Trinidad matched with a DC. WOW!!! Me and another guy were in the boat. We've caught a fair amount of skies over the years but learned alot on what it means to burn these bucktails. Definitely on my wish list for next year.
