Southern WI bass fishing

by Haataja on 06/08/2009

22 incher cpr'd
Was out a bunch this past week and lots of fish still spawning and guarding beds but I prefer to chase the big post spawn females when possible, with jigs, swim baits, top water and drop shotting. Great methods for big fish IMO.

Most fish are in the2-12 foot depth hanging very close to spawning blugills, the lakes I fish have a lot of schooling big fish so typically if you find one big one there a few other around. Heading back out on the water right now! I'm sorry there's not tons of context in my reports I just do not have the time to try and keep up with day to day fishing reports...gotta go-

I love these new swim baits man big fish love them! So do pike!

Best of luck guys!
