Nisswa to Pine River to Hackensack?

#796780 - 06/22/09 11:16 PM

What is the update for the area?
Kids' sports are winding down and the family and I will finally be heading up for a week or better hop-scotching the area.

Don't give me lakes or even towns, just let me know what's hitting and what's working.
Jason at Sportland doesn't need to respond unless he wants to. You will be seeing plenty of me and the kids heading into the July 4th weekend.
Thanks guys.
Good luck
cheers

Crappies were spread out for me last weekend. The one I found were on the outside weedline. Some walleyes were mixed in the same areas. After dark a good amount of eyes would show up on shallow(5-5) flats and pop cranks. Water temps flirted with 70 when I was up that way. Good luck

Yo Joe ...While Crappie fishing the last 2 hours of the day (near Longville...) we actually got into some eyes' on tiny crappie minnows. Very surprising. I'll be hanging leeches under corks next weekend. The last two weeks we have had success anchoring in 14 FOW next to very deep water and waiting for them to come up to feed for the evening and its been working well. (chartruese Gami hooks have worked best (by far...) but don't tell anyone... ) RR
