Waste of MN

Does anyone know if the main channel of the Missi will get closed due to the Taste of MN in down town St. Paul? I seem to recall they do this, but I'm not sure if it is just during the fireworks? I planned to fish pool two and don't want to get stuck upstream. Where does one look for this info? I tried USCG and USACE, no luck. Thanks!

The channel does get shut down. I am not sure what time they shut it down but it is pretty close to the start of fireworks. Then it is open right when they are done.

google "Local Notice to Mariners" and then look for July. The closing times will be posted there.
