Heading to St Croix State Park (Hinckley) this weekend, any advice on catching river smallies and walleyes up there?

Would imagine the river is pretty shallow up there. Bring a good pair of glasses to look for smallies with. Not sure about the walleyes. Maybe look for deeper water on outside bends with some better flow. If these areas have rock or wood there is a good bet it may hold walleyes. Something like a draggin jig and crawler in these areas may work.
