My son and I jumped in on a 3 hour charter through the hotel we are at and we limited out on small 1-5# lakers. This was a morning trip with Fugitive Charters and Capt. Dick was able to put us on fish. Since there were 4 kids the action was great. All fish were in 200 - 250' of water near the bottom

Sounds like a good time. What time of the day did you go out? I may have to try that sometime.

The charter was from 8am - 11am. There were 6 of us from the lodge and we all took turns and caught our limits of 3 lakers each. Since the fish were caught deep, 200'+ we kept all of them - except the one that got off boatside...

thanks for the report. glad you got into some fish. the n shore has been slower overall this year. wisconsin waters seem to be producing better numbers.
